Investment Forester
Timberland Investment Resources, LLC has an immediate opening for an Investment Forester at its Appalachian regional office, located in Dalton, Ga.

We are seeking a highly motivated professional forester who can provide operational oversight and management of forest management projects, risk mitigation, recreation licensing, and related land management programs. This position will report to the Appalachian Region Forester and will support investment management for several clients. The Investment Forester is expected to maintain competence as a practicing forester, and the position will require 60% to 80% field work (travel, working from remote locations, in-woods data collection, etc.).

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in forestry or similar area and 3-7 years experience in the forest products industry. Strong analytical competence with spreadsheet and database software, and excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills are required. A Master's degree in forestry or business administration is highly desirable.
