Acquisitions and Dispositions
TIR partners have acquired almost 2 million acres of timberland over the past 20 years consisting of more than 140 individual transactions. These acquisitions were made in all major timber regions of the U.S., including the South, Pacific Northwest, Northeast, and Lake States. In addition, our partners have sold over $700 million of timberland across these regions.

Our researchers have written numerous articles for academic and industry journals on a range of topics covering forest finance, economics, and management. In addition to U.S. forestry, our staff has global forestry experience in the major commercial timber regions of South America, New Zealand, and Australia.
