Gary Allred is a founding member of Timberland Investment Resources (TIR). Prior to joining TIR, Gary’s career has included management roles where he has been responsible for implementing all phases of the timberland investment purchase and sale discipline as well as management of timberland investment properties. This experience has included 13 years as a managing forester for a major forest products company as well as 17 years with Timberland Investment Management Companies (TIMOs) where his last role was Manager of Timberland Acquisitions. Over the past 10 years, Gary has been responsible for managing 860,000 acres of timberland ($535 million), 440,000 acres ($400 million) of which he acquired.

Gary is a graduate of North Carolina State University where he received BS degrees in Forest Management and Wildlife Biology and University of North Florida, where he received a Master of Business Administration (MBA). Gary is a Registered Forester, a member of the Society of American Foresters and an active member of the North Carolina Forestry Association.
