Tom Johnson is a founding member of Timberland Investment Resources.
Tom began his career at Wachovia Corporation, where he had ten years
of Institutional Investment and Trust experience. In that capacity,
he served as the Territory Manager for the West Coast where he was
responsible for business development as well as client relationship
management for Wachovia’s retirement and charitable funds
clients. In addition, for three years, Tom was a Principal Consultant
for PricewaterhouseCoopers Management Consulting practice where
he was an industry advisor to global investment management clients.
Tom is a graduate of Appalachian State University where he received a
BSBA in Finance, and University of Georgia where he received a Master
of Forest Resources (MFR) and Master of Business Administration (MBA),
with honors. Tom is a member of the Phi Kappa Phi honor society and
holds the designation of Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIASM ).
In addition to the CAIA designation, Tom has completed Level I of the
Chartered Financial Analyst exam.
